The initial contract called for site rough-grading, driving 97 wood piles, and constructing concrete footers, foundations, slabs, and city utilities, including sewers and water lines. Unforeseen challenges arose when pre-construction surveys overlooked a demolished factory buried on-site. Adapting swiftly, we developed and executed a plan to excavate and remove the debris, ensuring we reached virgin soil for pile placement. We then repurposed the screened material for controlled backfill, effectively managing resources while maintaining our commitment to the project’s original scope.
